PDN published the winners of their 2010 PIX contest in their November issue. I’m very excited to have worked on a series shot by Nick Hall that was chosen as one of the finalists in the ‘New Talent’ category.

Hello friends! Here are some pictures I’ve been working on lately, in their natural habitat.

First we have some of the layouts featured in recent Avon brochures. Immediately following you can see two covers for Android and Blackberry app guides, recently published by T-Mobile. Last but not least we have a cover and some pages from two very excellent UK publications S Magazine and Wedding Magazine.

I’m excited about some new developments on the other side of the pond, over at SixtyOne Productions. They are launching a new division called SixtyOne Digital, a boutique retouching studio based in London. Needless to say, I’m flattered to be a part of their team of very talented retouchers. They have great work on their site, including some by yours truly, so be sure to check them out here.

…since we’ve talked. Time is real good at slipping by when there’s lots of work and fun to be had. Well I’m back now and ready to share a small sample of the recent things I’ve been busy with. I’ve also conducted a much needed update of the content on my website, so be sure to drop by.

Just got back from a month long visit to the mother land. On the way back from the Dalmatian coast we detoured through Bosnia. Here are some highlights of the trip.

The good folks from T-Mobile have kept me busy over the past few weeks. Here’s a sneak peek at the cover of their publication called ’100% you’. Besides retouching the cover, I did a lot of work on the content inside of it as well. Like rebuilding low res assets to be print ready, retouching and teching on the lifestyle shoots photographed by Charlie Schuck. All kinds of good stuff. It should be coming out shortly, so be sure to check it out.

I just got done with these last night and I had to post this right away.  These were taken by NY/Paris photographer LuQman for a collective of amazing hair stylists. They are entering into a competition called NAHA or North American Hairstyling Awards, which is a pretty big deal if they win. Keep your fingers crossed!

Here’s a look at the Email campaign I just finished last week. It’s been received really well and it generated the biggest spike in traffic to the site to date. If you have a website you should really look into putting google analytics on it. It’s really neat.

But anyway, you might recognize the image from a few posts back. It was for a 32 catalog. I tweaked it a a bit from the final version because I didn’t need to make space for the copy. Speaking of copy, I have to give credit to my lovely lady Kitsy for much help with the copy on the promo. I’m not the best at writing as you may have figured out already if you’ve been reading all this.

I’m sure your mother was right when she called you a child prodigy and hung all your drawings on the fridge. However true this may be, sometimes you just might need a hand in producing publishable work.
